Practice what I Preach

Back to myself being myself. 🤷‍♂️

Then you hold it like the women hold their liquor. Grab the ears.
Makes a stable forward rest for the cue.
The tuck tuck fold fold of the paper towel provides a proper tool.
Try it, it might ......well at least it's a small investment. For an experiment.

See it's knot funny. Knots are not funny, well they can be. 🤷‍♂️
Fun with a paper towel should be the headline. Probably well maybe. 😉

Target Practice
1000003573.jpg

The paper towel front handle is working quite well.
The challenge is 9 ball with 6-7-8-9. A practice I enjoy is target placed for ideal shape. It's set for what I want on the 7.
Of course this isn't allowed in competition. I will however pick the ideal spot and even touch or hover the hand over ideal whilst my computer is analysis mode. Seems like I have seen Ronnie do similar. Rare but there. 🤔
Anyways it's a fun practice game. A player from California midsection marketed a similar game. (Headscratch) I think 🤔 🤷‍♂️ 😉

Ooop a retelling. 😉
Wednesday night 9 ball at The White Spot preceeded Gabby (Mike Danner RIP) and I playing Scotch Doubles at Rusted's place just down the road. So at 2 am close, we took the after hours recreation to that home table for 9 ball at 5 a stick. Pretty recreational with consideration of the opposite team.
We Prevailed!! I was still of apprentice status. Mike wouldn't coach. He just went and stood exactly where he wanted to shoot from.
My challenge was made so much easier with that ideal resting place for whitey mapped.

On the Fields of friendly strife.
Stay balanced
Stay centered
Be ready..
..er uh prepared as in Boy Scouts moto 🤷‍♂️
Juggling is a simple task that helps with hand/eye coordination. Bean bags are ideal when bouncing balls could break something. Tennis balls worked good for me. Of course my time on the bench had me juggling baseballs too. 🤷‍♂️
You gotta be able to feel the shot. Of course knowing the math and engineering and angles and fractions and revolution per second stuff share makes it a wider path er paved road.
Off we go.....into the wild blue yonder. Or skipping down the yellow brick road. 🤷‍♂️
It's a fitness religious adherence.

The roofing salvaged by One Eyed
Bill. Can't remember the barter but My time in the salvage from a burned church (if I remember right 🤷‍♂️).
The wood all came from Homedepot at 70 percent off. (The cull cart).

The screws and nails 25$
The lumber
2- 18' 2x8
4 treated 4x4
15 8' 2x4
Uh 125$
Paint 10$
Concrete 1 bag ready mix 6$
________<
166$ plus my time....well I call it a fitness program as my hourly wage would fall well below minimum. I prefer to call it a fitness program.
Make it 150$
While the shelter is flexible yet strong it's kinda hard to estimate the sort of lift our local wind gawds are capable of.....
Each pier block weighs 70-100 lbs and has in the Concrete fill of the cinder blocks a half inch rebar at 2 ft long rear angled to widen the base a fot or more at all 4 corners. One corner the windward corner got 2 and deeper penetration into native soil.
Ooops well I can always pour a slab floor for the carport. 🤷‍♂️ 😉 nah it's....uh....Good to Go.

Motto is the word of the day Saturday June 13 uh must 2026. Yikes how the time flies, when having fun.
Oh yeah my favorite of All Times is....
"What? ME Worry???"
bonus points for Alfred E. Newman. From Mad magazine.
Mark Williams owns the motto. 🤷‍♂️
I try to emulate.
Be Here now
Is a favorite.
Just Slow Down
Savor the flavor
Ooops flashback 🤷‍♂️
"The taste of blood excites me" is attributed to my elbo swinging basketball pro, work mate.
Care free is not careless.
Mark Williams' tip sounds Hard. My phenolic tip sounds similar.

The paper towel forward grip is working quite well.

Okay! SUNDAY STORY time. 😉
Back when I was a Boy Scout, when John F Kennedy was president. Weaverville Scouts took the 40 mile ride In the early morning dark to Whiskeytown Dam. JFK was giving a dedication to the dam and lake. The lake takes water from Trinity lake and diverts it to the Sacramento Valley.

At the far right edge of the dam is the glory hole.
🤔 Wikipedia said 63 for completion. CHECK it out here. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Whiskeytown_Dam_Dedication_in_California_No.4.jpg
President Kennedy speaks at the dam's dedication on September 28, 1963.
So I was 12 years old and road in our leaders international scout. Probably a full load of scouts in 2 vehicles.
We arrived before daylight and provided a rope pathway clearance to access the grandstand. Got to see the president arrive and land on the dam. 4 different choppers. The trees held secret service snipper equipped security.
We provided the passage to the comfort station z as well as access from parking. 🤷‍♂️ When his dedication began. Our walkway was collapsed and we moved as close as possible to watch and listen.....to Our President. Kinda A Big deal at 12. Shrug 🤷‍♂️. I was still a shrimp at 12 and an older scout allowed me a seat on his shoulders.
Can't help but feel the tears and pain upon hearing of his assassination.
Okay a little emotional wave just hit me.
