Want to get an idea of what others do to practice to get better. Trying to vary up what I do on the table when I am alone.
Thanks in advance
James

Find an old copy of game, 'target pool'

from 1994-1996, by kim davenport,

Then get a group of 3 to 6 players together and play 18 holes or rounds and the whoever scores the highest is the winner.

Each shot each player sets up will teach a new shot and show the strengths and weaknesses of all types of shots that u and others can perform and at the same time focus on 'CUE BALL CONTROL'

Best game to teach and learn and improve shot making and cue ball control!!

Drills drills and more drills! Bert Kinister 60 minute workout on demand for eight ball and nine ball

I practice 3 different versions of whats called clock systems . Form buddy hall, kid delicious. And little bit of 1.2.3 system from r.givens (the 8 ball bible) then some 2-3 rail position. Route patterns....could use more practice from my banking with the beard book and jumping

It would help to know how well the OP currently plays. "Practice" is a lot different depending on your skill level.

Practice, I mean Practice. We're not talking about a game here. Practice. What's that

i gave you a greenie for your considerate and helpful responce

Why thank you bbb. What prompted me looking up the thread for a new member was the cavalier, condescending response James received right off the bat. I didn't want him to believe that kind of attitude was indicative of the AZB community.
