Here is a simple player's cue by Jeff Prather. 19.5 oz. 13mm tip. Butt and shaft are perfect. Shaft shows light play. Cocobola is exhibition grade (not that I want to start a thread on wood grading criteria) and the shaft is super tight grained with curly figure. This is a really nice looking cue. Not cored, plays stiff and very solid. Southwest style 3/8 11pin. Black white spec linen. Double tapered butt. Handle is a little thinner than my last Prather cue. Hand signed on the forearm. This is a lot of cue shipped for $375. No fee to use paypal. PM with questions.

I must admit, that is one HELL of a nice coco grain you got there!!

good luck with the sale.

Another close up

Thanks solartje. I was just brousing at the Hopkins expo when the wood caught my eye. After I saw the shaft quality, I had to have it. This is too good a player. I would keep it as an example of cocobola wood but I just bought a fancy Cantando... I'll be eating mac and cheese for a while if I don't start sacrificing some other cues.

JP's are included along with a nice felt cue sleeve embroidered with the Prather name.

i dont think you will have a hard time selling it.

the wood is amazing and the price is fine. MAN that coco is amazing. i still get the WOW effect every time i look at the pictures :D

PM response

The cue is totally perfect and straight together or apart. 19.4oz is the total weight. The balance point is 19.5" from the bottom of the butt cap, not counting the bumper.

Another PM question

As I understand it, the cue has interchangeable weight bolts. Prather stamps their name and the year of production onto the bolt head. They offer several sizes to customize the cue's balance point.

If I hadn't seriously blown my cue budget for the year (got the Visa bill for the last one a few minutes ago:eek: ) I would definitely be interested in this cue- it's beautiful.

All trade offers considered

Two members have asked if I would consider trades. Yes. Feel free to make any kind of trade offer. Pics, prices, even high end cues. I'm selling to pay for a Cantando, but I will always be willing to consider a trade. There are a few local players shopping so I head-hunt for cues wherever I go.
