Prather cue value

I picked up a Prather cue at Ralley earlier this year. The cue is signed "Prather 96", it is ebony with what I believe are olive points with a blue and green veneer. When I got the cue it had what looked like a golf club wrap. I looked for quite a while to find a unique leather wrap but have settled for a plain black leather. My question is what is the value on this cue? I bought without a shaft and used a predator shaft that I had and only played with it just a little. I had a new shaft made from Prather that has not been used yet. If anyone has an idea on value I'd be interested in knowing. Sorry, pictures aren't the best.

I have the exact model in a different color. I sent an e-mail to Prather and was given the following information: "To build it today would be $850. The original price would have been $200 to $250 lower." That being said, I have that cue along with 2 others that I have been trying to sell at 1/2 of the "to build it today" price ($425 for the one like yours), and have not had a single person comment, let alone offer to buy one. I hope that helps.

Thanks Chris. I did see your thread and thought about calling but did not have time. My cue is slightly different with 2 veneers on the points and a leather wrap. I just got a new Carmeli cue so I think this one is going to go on the block.
