Just got an e-mail from Chris Hightower, his beloved wife Dorinda, has level 4 lung cancer.

Please pray for her and there family.

They are really great folks to know. Chris has contributed much to our family of billiards.

That is terrible news to hear. We will keep the Hightowers in our thoughts and prayers and hope for the best. May God bless them during this tough time.

Blud...thank for the heads up......my thoughts and prayers go out to the Hightower family. They will be in my nightly prayers and thoughts...............mike
 
Chris has done a lot with his cue making business. He an his son are both very solid players as well. My prayers go out to them.

Today, there is so much better treatment for cancer than a month or two ago.
And the most important factor, is one's will to survive. Somehow, somehow I know Dorinda will beat this, with her desire to continue on.

That's terrible news. I don't know if anyone here knows just how many cue makers Chris has trained. He's the Director of the International Cue Makers Association and has been a valuable resource of cue knowledge for us right here on AZ billiards.

We will keep Chris and Dorinda in our prayers.

Chris is living my worst nightmare and I feel for him. I have been praying for a miracle for his wife and strength for Chris.

on behalf of myself, keith and sherri we send our thoughts to dorinda and chris and pray for a blessing from god that will strengthen them in this time..

Thanks for posting it up in the main forum.
Chris made our AZ forum members aware of the situation in this thread in his post (#4 within the thread).

I will continue to remember Chris's wife and the other people our forum members brought to out attention in my prayers.
