I thought I read somewhere they started putting the flag on soon after Sept 11, 2001. A patriotic thing.

"Does the OP have any Pre-FlaG Masters for trade"???

Not sold on Preflag Masters
Gotta say I am not sold on Preflag Masters as the "secret make all balls voodoo chalk"
I am rotating the Blue Diamond, NIR Super Pro, and Magic Chalk (Russian, what a name).
I really like these and have yet to try a pre flag Master to see if it's any better.
Haven't had a miscue while using these.
NIR is REALLY soft, and Magic Chalk comes in second. Blue Diamond is a bit harder but by not that much.
The softness makes me change the pressure I place on the tip while chalking but the preference is about the same.
