2 Pre-Brochure Custom Cues that would lay the foundation for the "Model M". The names in the Custom M foils are J.R.R., and I think he was an author, wrote a book about rings and hobbits. The other unfortunately was made for someone named Taylor, who was an astronaut, and would not be back on earth until 3978. I made the last two things up... but still cool.

Very cool. I think all Palmer cue owners have been fascinated by the Model M. Somewhere I read how those curved veneers were made, but I forget how.
