Yep ...

I would like to know about this cue maker also ... That top cue M - 005 or something to that effect looks pretty nice for 400+ ... It is a very nice looking cue ...I'm just wondering how it plays ...Who the cue maker is or more about him ... And also if the cue is coming from over seas is it a situation like the cues in the phillipenes that can warp due to the climate change?

here's some info quoted from another webbie

KF Cues is a family enterprise that was founded in 1970 by Taiwanese business man Mr. Charles Tsai. The company’s growth has been constant and stable ever since it’s fledgling beginning until now, 2006, over 36 years. Mr. Tsai’s son Paul Tsai, explains the success of the company by saying "We do ordinary things extraordinarily well". Thirty six years of dedication and expertise has given KF Cues the leading edge on it’s competition. KF Cues is in a class all by itself.

hope it helps :D most other info is in chinese

KF Cues are hand made custom and production cues made in Taiwan. It is a family business of 5 cue makers. They are endorsed by Ga-Young Kim (2 time champion and #2 ranked in the WPBA), Xiao-Ting Pan (2007 WPA Amway World Nine Ball Champion) and Fong-Pang Chao (3 time world class billiards champion)

These are exceptionally well crafted cues. Shafts are conditioned tight grain Canadian Hard Rock Maple, so the chances of warping are really no greater then a McDermott or Pechauer.

This doesn't seem like an appropriate place to presell imported cues.

Kf

I thought about doing this a while back..

Contacted KF and they put me in touch with an american guy who was going to give me real good prices on quanity even though I am not a dealer..

Had them send me a catalog and it took like 6 weeks to get.

Which I have here with me and all the retail prices along with my costs for each cue.

Never did order any as I felt they wouldn't sell on here.. Guess I was wrong.

They do have a few nice looking cues.. The local pool room here carries them.

Good luck with your sales.

Anyone looking for a cue for $200 and under I suggest these..

That has happened

Prices seem fair, but I wonder if the Hot Dry Desert Air in Phoenix will Worp them?

Yes, this has happened with many import cues...actually a lot of American production cues as well, putting them out too fast or sitting on the back of UPS ground trucks too long!

With most imported cues, warping is more then just a function of the climate they are being shipped to, it is the manner in which the shaft is conditioned, and how the cue is shipped.
If you are buying a large scale production cue imported form China, the cues are shipped via ocean, stowed in a container which is either on deck or in a hold. During the 30 to 45 days these cues spend on the ocean, they are subject to extreme changes in temperature and humidity. This will weaken the structural integrity of the shaft and create a greater potential for warping.
The KF shafts are made from an aged and conditioned, canadian hard rock maple. I pay the extra for Airfreight so they do not go through the same dramatic climate changes. This lowers the odds of a climate change causing a warping. Of course, no one can guaranty that a maple shaft will not warp. That only works on laminates, and sometimes not even then. All we can do is our best to limit the potential, and then offer a 90 day warranty.

Hope this helps.
