Pre-shot routine

Just felt good this morning about my discipline yesterday and had the strange need to post it. I didn't feel like I was "in stroke" but I was very disciplined, took my time, and committed fully to every shot. My pre-shot routine was better than it has ever been yesterday as a result I cashed in a very difficult tourney. If you don't have a solid pre-shot routine...MAKE ONE!!

I have those strange needs myself, from time to time, but they usually go away after a few minutes in the bathroom.
I agree about a committed pre-shot routine. As you stated, if a person is a bit out of stroke they can still keep things together by concentrating on the pre-shot.

What you do before you shoot determines what you do after you shoot. If you like being at the table, like I do, develop something that works. The game is a lot more fun, when you make the shot.
