precat 314 wood cracking in shaft

has anyone ever had this happen?
it happened to mine and now when i move the cue ball with the shaft it sounds really flimsy and really really hollow.
is the shaft shot?
it still hits the same.
just trying to get some input on this situation.
 
I've had 3 shafts now over the years crack along the glue lines, typically after a year or two of play. Your shaft is older, not sure how much play it's received.

If the crack is small and ferrule is intact, probably not much if any impact. If it hasn't been taken down, you might be able to call Predator but the replacement wouldn't be pre-cat...

It is a pretty long crack on opposite sides of each other..... I will call predator and see what they say...just bummed cause this shaft plays great
