With all the negative posts flying here I thought I should just bring some positive feedback up here:

I have just received a "test order" of some different mill bit's from Precise bits (http://www.precisebits.com/) and I have to say that they have been top to work with.
Excellent service, fast shipping and well packed.

I'm not sure where you guys get your's but for me Ron and his shop is highly recommended.

Out to test them now :)

Thanks for the fresh breath of positiveness:smile: It's good to hear something other than what has been going on lately. I'm glad things worked out well and your pleased with the items. I may try them sometime myself. Thanks,
Dave

bits

Their bits are top notch. Check the cue maker section. Correct "depth of cut" for a lot of what we do. They also have great customer service. Pleasure to do business with each and every time I ordered.

Yes, I have got PM from respected cuemakers on here which have used their bits for a long time.
I have just ordered a couple of test samples as mentioned which most likely would be broken fairly quickly but I would for sure go back to them.

Have not tested them in practice yet, but I'll get there soon. Have to measure T.I.R on my machine to see if it's good enough :)

As mentioned, highly recommended.

How can you honestly recommend something you have not tested?

Edit: I'm not sure if you are mixing up posts here but how could you say that Dman has not tested them? If you are thinking on me which just has received
them and not tested them then read on..

If you put a little more positive attitude to you're self and read my initial post you would read the following : "Excellent service, fast shipping and well packed".

My post was done in respect of the excellent service and the way it has been handle in respect of shipping and handling.

Just to indicate that there is companies which take care of their customers as it seems that some of the other companies discussed here seems not to...

By the way I have received PM from cue makers which has used these for years and are very happy with them, but don't worry I would come back with my practical experience as well

"Always look at the bright side of life" was mentioned in a song from a British collection of comedians :D

I cut some Ivory Boxes with Ebony Frames today using some of these bits on Lee's machine. I measured them up when they were done and they were exactly the dimensions they should be (They were not off by even .001 in either direction).
