I've seen a few posts about a 1" ferruled Pre-Cat 314. Rare, desired, could someone tell me anything about these shafts? Regards, Brian.

I think the valuable one is a 5/16 pin, it's pre uniloc anyway

1st generation 314's play a lot like solid maple shafts, they have a great hit and feel that you can't get from any other low deflection shaft that I've seen.

I have 314 shafts 1 st gen for every cue I own. Love them. Yes they are getting hard to find, most of them you find will be worn, and well used, it's hard to find a nice, clean, barely used old 314. If u find one, grab it, it'll cost you 150-200.

314 w/1" ferrule

I have a 96 Series 314-4, 5/16-14 Pre-Cat with the 1" ferrule, as new. Is it worth a premium? Brian.
