Predator 4K6, good solid cue?

Anyone have any idea or opinion on how the older 4K6 stands up to the new C4 tech Predator cues?

I think for the price you can do better. Get a Jacoby or Joss which is probably going to be cheaper and throw a 314-2 on it (if thats what you want).

I have a 4k4, and its a good solid cue. I play with my Josey or Frey SP because I like a firm hit.

To me they hit very stiff....kind of like playing with rebar. To each his own.

Sounds like I'm on the right track. I'm doing a trade and get a conversion made on what I think might be an old Helmstetter. Thank you all for all the information. I do prefer Tiger shafts though. Just like rosewood! Cheers folks!
