Predator 5-K Series Vs. Predator 2

With all of the latest technology going into the Predator 5-K series (new butt design etc....) is the Predator 2 series still suppose to be a higher performance cue? They both come with second generation shafts. I noticed that the joint on the Predator 2 is shorter and probably not as heavy as that on the 5-K series. Any input is appreciated. Thanks! Anthony

I dont think the 5K series is supposed to be a 'performance' cue. A last that's not how they're spinning it (no pun intended). It's aesthetic only.

The P2 series has the radial construction similar to the shaft, and remains their only line that emphasizes any performance or practical benefits.

Whether the P2 series has any actual performance benefits is for another thread. But to answer your post, the P2 is still 'higher performance.'
