Predator 5K series?

I think the Chinese made cues are of decent quality, with a much lower cost. Good for Predator to be able to greatly increase their profit margin. Of course, they still have to sell these made in China cues in order to make their money.racer rx said:

Well, I think the quality in terms of finish and fit is not any worst than Viking, McDermott, or Joss. The hit is very personal. The only thing is that the 5K cues are built by the Lucasi factory but the 5K is much more expensive. I think most customers will have a hard time justifying paying $1000 for a cue made in China. However, this mentality might change after a few years when more and more cues are being made in the Chinese factory.
A funny situation may come up in a few years time, when all major US brands are made in the same Chinese factory by the same machines, using the same woods and material, by the same workers but are sold with very different pricings.
I think it might become a bit confusing for the customers to try to understand why one brand is $1000+ and the other is $100, while they are all being made in the same factory.
