Predator air jump vs Predator air jump 2

I was looking at Amazon reviews as I'm about to order a new jump cue and one guy mentioned that the original is better for really short jumps which I like executing.

Thoughts? Anyone tried both?

The shaft on the air 1 is plastic coated garbage. The matte finish on the handle of the air 2 is slippery and terrible. You need the butt of the air 1 and the shaft of the air 2 for a decent jump cue. Or just get an ob lift.

If really close jumps is what you want, I wouldn't get either Predator or OB. They are great for longer distance jumps. For really close up, I've tried nothing better than Jacoby. I've tried a LOT of jump cues.

I would stay away from Amazon or Ebay reviews.

Go with advise from people that know how to jump good.

Have you tried Dymondwoods? What's your opinion?

Yes I've tried Tony Layne (spelling?) and Alex Brick. Both are exceptional as full length jump cues. However at close distances I didn't think they were as great. Honestly though I only hit like 20 full length jumps with them and like 2 broken down, so my experience isn't much.

I just bought the fury jump cue at the expo this year.. It's half the price and I got to say much easier to use and be accurate then the predator air 2.

I haven't tried the Air 2, but the original Air is hands down the worst dedicated jump cue I have tried. It can jump, but it takes a lot of effort. Most jump break cues jump better than it and other dedicated jump cues blow it out of the water.

Yep.. at the time it was excellent. But much better jump cues have come out since then

Buy a Dunkel Custom Cues jump cue & I guarantee you will never regret it. Hands down the best jump cue out there. It's almost cheating it's so good.
