Predator and Poison cue comparison?

I currently use Poison AR5(2nd gen) with a Venom shaft.
I've tried a Predator Sneaky Pete and a Limited Edition one, but only for a short time.
Can someone who's tried both please try to explain the differences?
Venom vs 314 2 shaft?
I want to upgrade my Poison with a 314 shaft.

the venom shaft has good low deflection performance for the price, but the 314-2 has lower deflection. they share similar designs in many respects....same ferrule design and both are bored out at the tip end. the poison shaft is then cored with balsa wood, while the predator is left hollow, which is why it deflects less. the other difference is that the predator is laminated while the poison is not.
