No, but, I am interested to hear all these things you been hearing??Has anyone installed Predator Arcadia Cloth ? I am hearing all kinds of things.
The perfect cloth for spray glue installation, because the stretch is more than 7".Yes, but haven't played much on it. It seems a little thinner and stretches a little more than Simonis 860 HR.
Did you have specific questions about it?
Why the need to know?Anyone ever find out who actually makes it for Predator?
More curiosity than anything ,wondering if it's just rebranded with a hefty markup. I've wondered who made their pool balls as well. Why the need to know?
Aramith makes their ball sets, so yes, rebranded and marked up.More curiosity than anything ,wondering if it's just rebranded with a hefty markup. I've wondered who made their pool balls as well.
Sams billiards makes their pool tables too, so I still won't work on them, wouldn't work on them before they put their name on them as well.More curiosity than anything ,wondering if it's just rebranded with a hefty markup. I've wondered who made their pool balls as well.
I just played in a tournament with Acadia cloth, seems to play very much like Simonis 860. What do you recommend I use for cloth on my GCI, it has 860 on it now but its worn out. I successfully installed it myself with the help of your Simonis videos. I only did it myself because I couldn't find a qualified mechanic in my area that did nice work (if they have to put duct tape underneath the pocket opening they are doing something wrong). I am happy with the Simonis but I would probably go with 860HR next time unless it changes the speed or the way the table plays because I started getting pretty heavy marks in the break tracks and also all around the table in the rail grooves after only 2-3 years. Its a home table and I play often but I also have a job so its not like I play on it 8 hours per day, I thought it would have stayed nicer looking for a longer time, if that is completely normal I will stick with 860.The perfect cloth for spray glue installation, because the stretch is more than 7".
Has to be installed like snooker cloth, just pull the wrinkles out and attach it to the sides of the slate backer, or spray glue it just enough to hold it in place.

Does it install like other cloth? Simonis, Champ Tour 30/30??I've used it with the glue down method. The players seem to like it. I like the way they put the logo under the rail instead of on top like Andy. They don't give you as much room as I'd like, the way they cut the cloth to do the logo rail, but it is certainly possible. Quality control is good, as I have not seen one defect in the cloth. I've only done five tables with it though.
Oh, ok, just need to index and adjust to a different cloth, sounds doable to me. I have not used it yet. Imagine from what you are describing, that it is like Champ Tour Edition 30/30. Much more stretch to it.I would say it compares to 760 Trent, with a bit more stretch. I don't have any experience with 30/30. Also, I should have mentioned that is the select and not the reserve.
What do you not like about them? I don't care for the appearance and have no idea of the build quality but the steel frame and the leveling system seem like good ideas if they are implemented properly.Sams billiards makes their pool tables too, so I still won't work on them
Hollow, extruded aluminum rails for starters. What do you not like about them? I don't care for the appearance and have no idea of the build quality but the steel frame and the leveling system seem like good ideas if they are implemented properly.
Seems like those would be cold and unpleasant and possibly sound funny when you banked a ball.Hollow, extruded aluminum rails for starters.
Not to burst anyone's bubble or anything, but the last Predator tour stop, 3 out of 8 of the 9fts had broken slates, guess they haven't learned how to handle the 1 piece slates yet either!Seems like those would be cold and unpleasant and possibly sound funny when you banked a ball.
