I finally got one. Delivered in the mail today.

Just wondering. Is there anything special about this CB other than the black triangles?

It makes a better sound than my Aramith Black measle ball, but not as cool as my Diamond Blue measle ball.

Even thought all three are made from the same material.

The Diamond and the Pred are SAP, the BLACK cueball is Duramith.

Not really any difference that I can discern. I have one but never use it since I prefer the Aramith Black Dot Measle Ball.
I like it better than the red dot measle balls which I have several. I played with a Centennial Blue Dot Cue Ball this past
weekend as I own 3 sets of Centennial pool balls. I enjoyed playing with it sans any decorative design…..just a white
cue ball and it was great to play with a snowball instead of dots. However, I still prefer the Black Dot Aramith cue Ball.

I have one all white and one 6 black triangle Dynaspheres cue ball, plus a set of Dynaspheres Bronze balls. Both hit great and consistently throughout the product line and are much cheaper than Aramith / Predator.

My Black Duramith Measle ball doesn't stay any cleaner than the Arcos2 cue ball
My take on the 'clean deal' is that various factors can be in play. How humid is the room? What does player have on hands and possibly(probably?) transfer to balls? Type of chalk used? I'm not saying its impossible for some balls to stay cleaner but imo this is way overblown. Unless the 'good Doctor-D' gets really bored and tests every ball out there you can call me doubtful.

I have a feeling many around here aren't very good about cleaning their balls anyway...
