PREDATOR B K 3 Anyone tried 1 yet- FEEDBACK/EXPERIENCE THANKS!

not impressed

Not bad. But the weight isn't balanced correctly. Here is a break cue. And for 100.00 less and custom made by Ben Greene in Ocean City, maryland. Simply crushes the balls. Balance is perfect. Purpleheart shafts, or yellow heart. Yellow has a little more flex to it.

I have a Mezz Power Break 2 cue, 18 oz.
I used a friend's BK 3 (19 oz) to break couple times, I can say it feels lighter than Mezz PB2, and the break wasn't to powerful.

My conclusion is that BK3 doesn't worth the money they ask for, nor Mezz PB 2 do. It's a good break cue, but nothing phenomenal.
See in Cuemaker section, there was a problem with BK 3 ferrule, it's too thin for a break cue, here is the link (http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=353968)

For the BK3 money, you better find a custom break cue.

PS Do you have a break cue now? Which one?

ive been using the bk3 for about two months now. its true that they have a ferrule issue. mine cracked on me with a samsara tip. local cuemaker filled with epoxy and put on capped ferrule and now it plays phenominal. the sport grip is awesome. this thing absolutely obliterates 9b racks on the barboxes. so yes the bk3 gets my recommendation lol
