Hello!
Just wondering if it's safe to remove the carbon fibre plate on the bk2 shaft?
The reason for asking is that I use the cue as my playing cue. Just removed the break tip and replaced with a playing tip (medium tip)
And it works great

No, the pad is an integral part of the design.

Without that pad, the ferrule will start to crack, and a hard shot may make it shatter.....carbon pad is a MUST! for the integrity of the shaft
