When I bought my first Predator break cue about 3 years ago from Predator there was a problem with the tip. I brought the cue to Valley Forge and Predator had someone change it for me. No charge. The tip had a clicking sound. I was told the tip was loose. This year I bought a Predator Break 2 at Valley Forge. Not from Predator, but an independent dealer. When I got home I found this tip was loose with a clicking sound. I called the dealer and he said Predator would not give him a new tip for me to have installed. I called Predator. They said they would not give me a tip, but instead I should just send them the shaft. This was at my expense, packing and shipping. When the post office notified me of delivery confirmation I contacted Predator. They lost the shaft. They send me a new one. Guess what? This one clicks also.
Does anyone know what type of tip they use? I don't want to deal with them anymore. I own two other Predator sticks, and use a Predator shaft on another cue. I use moori tips on my playing cues, but I would like to use the type of tip they provide with the break cue. I like their products, but their quality control is a bit weak.
