I have well used Cat 314 that fits a piloted 5/16 x14 joint. This shaft is well used. It has a few bumps and bruises. It does have a roll to it also. The tip does not leave the table. You can see light in the middle when rolled. That being said, the shaft plays good. I think it's right at 12.65-70 mm. It's got a fairly new Throughbred tip that Richard Harris uses on His Bluegrass cues. It would make an excellent back up shaft.
It does not have a collar
