I had the butterfly case. Gave it to my nephew. Not bad at all. Maybe get one from Seybert’s. Send back if you don’t like what you see. Unused of courseMy old case is ready to be retired and I like the look of the Predator cue cases but I can't find much info as far as the quality. Any opinions here?

I have used this case for about a week now, and am very happy with it. For $220 it is a quality Case and stores just about anything I want. The back strap is comfortable and allows for a hands-free carry convenience. I would highly recommend this bag for those seeking a lot of storage area for a reasonable price, and very good quality!I have a Predator Metro case currently but was looking for more interior pocket accessory storage area. I really like the Metro except for the fact that there isn't enough accessory storage for my liking. So now, I have this arriving today from Seybert's, as this style was recommend to me:

I have the same case. I LOVE it. If I lost it today, I would buy two tomorrow. Extra incase I lost it again. I like it alot more than the Urbain hard case because it butterfly opens. Less protection than the hard case but I am pretty cautious with my cues so I'm not to worry.I have been using a Predator Urbain 2X4 for the last 18months. There's really nothing else I'd want from a case. The pouch holds my extension and jump butt perfectly and there's pockets for all your fixings. It's held up great.
jb ruggedI tend to go with hard tube cases for extra security since cue repair might not be an option.
OK, since using the Urbain case for only 4 months now, the shoulder strap is tearing off the case body. The design of this joint is engineered poorly. When the user lifts the bag by the shoulder strap, or just carrying the bag normally by the same strap, it puts the weight of the bag on this sewn on joint. The stitching of this joint is poor and breaks down because of it (see photo attached). After contacting Predator warranty department, they offered to replace the bag with any bag they had in stock on their own website. The choices were limited as I did not want to order the same thing because of the existing problem. Other bags that they offered the reviews didn't seem to promote those bags that well as people were complaining about the lack of pocket space and sub-dividers. Predator also wanted me to totally destroy my present bag then take a picture of it and send it back to them before they would issue a replacement bag. The bag still has some usefulness, and I was going to give it to a friend, but they wanted me to totally destroy it. I thought that would be a waste of a semi-decent bag so I decided to have a tailor stitch the strap back on, which cost me money, and refuse to take their offer of a new bag. I figure I would be in the same place in no time with a new bag, and the other bags they had to offer didn't have much in the way of storage since. I cannot promote Predator at all, as it seems a lot of their products are falling short of the price you have to pay for them. I’ve had multiple predator cases. One i’ve used for years .. even traveled with no issues. It sounds like you got one with a manufacturing flaw and they admitted that the bag had production issues and wanted to take care of it and you Refused but predator is still bad lol I’m not saying predator is perfect but this is on you. nothing is perfect in this world. production issues occur and this company was willing to take care of it. This isn’t a predator fail..this was a predator win. It’s not about making a mistake it’s how you take care of that mistake when it happens. From a normal persons view they did what they could. It’s on you.OK, since using the Urbain case for only 4 months now, the shoulder strap is tearing off the case body. The design of this joint is engineered poorly. That's the route I took as well. I used a Predator 3x5 Urbain with a JB interior (not bad really). Now a JB 3x6 Leather Butterfly. Thanks for the input. This case will be an interim case until I can get my hands on a JB.
