Predator Cue Cases

I have the metro 3x5 and it is very well made from what I have seen so far. No issues with stitching at all.

That said, the storage space is a bit lacking. I'm able to fit everything, but it is tight in the larger pocket.

My next case will be a JB.

I’ve had multiple predator cases. One i’ve used for years .. even traveled with no issues. It sounds like you got one with a manufacturing flaw and they admitted that the bag had production issues and wanted to take care of it and you Refused but predator is still bad lol I’m not saying predator is perfect but this is on you. nothing is perfect in this world. production issues occur and this company was willing to take care of it. This isn’t a predator fail..this was a predator win. It’s not about making a mistake it’s how you take care of that mistake when it happens. From a normal persons view they did what they could. It’s on you.
Btw predator asking you to destroy it is not out of the ordinary. You return most things to lowes including say a $5 grand fridge the manufacturer once they replace it has lowes destroy the old one so you aren’t getting another and selling the one you have. Pretty standard procedure.

In short your the kind of customer no one wants.
I'm not saying Predator failed to try to take care of me, because I did thank them for trying in the warranty department. Where Predator has failed is with where the shoulder strap attaches to the bag. All the weight of the bag, which is substantial based on the type of case it is, puts too much stress on the threads there and starts to tear out. Even my Metro bag made by predator, is starting to tear. Luckily I have a friend who does industrial sewing and sewed both bags up to a point where I think they will hold but only time will tell. The warranty department I give props to, the design Department of Predator I think has failed because both my bags with the same style of shoulder strap are tearing off. Please read the thread appropriately before you comment, because apparently you didn't in your last post.

i love the jbs also but they can be a little tight fit for sports wraped predators

the predator roadline cases are really nice, enough space hard shell
and very light weight/ compact

these i highly recommend after using one for most of the year

If not dead set on Predator cases, also check out the Cuetec pro line. I have the 4x8 soft Ghost edition cue case and it is my favorite case for carrying my cues, jump cue, break cue, accessories. I have went through many leather cases, Whitten etc…. The cuetec is well made. My only gripe are the squared off zipper eyelets on the zipper pulls (if you own one you know what I speak of). But a minor annoyance.

Best case I have ever owned. I don't play Cuetec but I love the case. It has all the storage you need and them some, put together by some one who plays . After I said this, I must confess, I never owned a JB Case.

Most Predator products you are just paying for the name. They have some good stuff, but it is way overpriced.

how many predator products have you personally bought to say this?
I don't have any cues of theirs, but I have had 3 predator cases which have all had shoulder strap issues. The straps are sewn on in such a way that when carried on your shoulder would pull against the threads and tear off. Poor design. I have used friends predator cues, player, break, and jump, while nice cues, to me, overpriced. $650-700 for a jumper? too much. I have a professional jumper from Dominus/Finland, $450 for a 3 piece carbon fiber cue. As good as anything in the world. I would definitely play a Predator cue, but not for their prices.

I like to carry my case on my shoulder via the shoulder strap. I've owned three Predator cases, two I bought brand new, and one was a warranty replacement. All three of them have sewn on shoulder straps at the top. When I put the case over my shoulder the strap tugs against the threads and always rip them. I am very careful with my equipment but nonetheless, the Predator design on their Metro and Urbain are poor. How much would it cost to put some type of buckle on the case for the top so you wouldn't have threads tearing out. I would not recommend Predator cases to anybody because of this.

I will always recommend the roadline hard case and the black butterfly sport case by predator
as i own both . great cases for the money with no issues anywhere in the years of having them
