I’ve had two predators with qr and two with radial
The two qr`s (SP2) I only used 12.9 revo
Couldn’t play with it at all

The radials I used ( sneaky petes)12.9 and 12.4 revo
Plays much better with the 12.4, still struggled with the 12.9

mayb i just cant use 12,9 revo

atleast tho the sneakys if you ding them it wont look so bad because it appers more like wood, and not just painted plastic,

even tho i love the ease of the quick release

New Pantheras will have radial pins, looks like a 10/15 release date.

Hoping to snag one of these for myself. I'm perfectly happy with the UniLoc joint on my current playing cue but I really want one of these Jacoby built Predator cues since Jacoby is local(ish) to me here in Wisconsin. Already snagged a radial joint 30" 12.4 Revo when they were available so I'd have my preferred shaft size/length ready in case they're not in stock when the cues drop

Why don't you buy custom jacobi but predator made by jacobi ?

I have thought about it, but I already have Predator extensions and the Jacoby joint diameter is larger for their radial pin cues then the Predator standard.

I am actually still considering that option and trying out the Jacoby Black shafts, but since I'm used to the Revo already I'd like that to match up properly. I haven't had a chance to try a Revo on a Jacoby butt to see how the joint matches up, I'm taking some time off work next week and might actually make the drive up to Jacoby to check out what they have in stock and give it a try.

nice cue

i dont play well with pretty cues that im always looking at and admiring and talking to people about
i put a purple tennis grip on the predator sneaky pete 8 point lol a pure player as ugly as it may be

I wonder if a butt that is only made off solid Ebony would be as consistent as P3 butt ? Anyone have experienced it yet ?

what is inconsistent about any butt?
have you experienced this?
Usually is lighter toward the forearm or too heavy toward the butts without weight adjustment. It isnt the balance point but rather the weight as in straightness that you can feel with your back hand during an execution of a stroke. Closing your eyes for example, some butts give you more feeling of consistency with confidences and some don't or make you doubting your backhand

the big cat fudged up an otherwise decent looking cue. i really don't think i've seen a good looking predator cue since the 5k series
