Hello,
I'm very happy with the Fat Shaft's taper, it closely resembles the 314-2 but a little stiffer. I thought the taper was going to be much stiffer and slightly more conical like the Z or BK2. The Fatty is still a Pro taper, just a little stiffer and thicker ( diameter ). One thing I have to say though, The Fat Shaft does deflect a bit more.
