Predator history. When did the 4 piece butt design start?

I have done some things backwards in replacing my 2015 Revo topped Willie Mosconi 526 stick. I bought a new PK3 from Predator and it was 19.4oz's and I stipulated less so they took it back. I then bought a 30" revo uni loc to put on my Lucasi uniloc temporarily. That was OK, but now a no-go.

So I am looking around for a nice medium entry $900-$1200 Predator that is light and has a wrap. Only because I have two Revo shafts and a weight kit.
I like the 2019 Black curly maple P3.

Does anyone know the year when the current 4 piece butt started that accepts the weight kit?

Is there anyone that likes older, on the USED market, uni loc Predator cues better than the new ones? I am not a collector I need a tool for some wins.

yes, i liked their earlier cues such as the 5k4. not a fan of futuristic or sporty looking pool cues.

On Predator's site they have a page with all the retired cues from each year. Pick one out that you like and I bet you can find one used. They must have made thousands of each model cue for each year. My personal favorite might be the 2K1 cue. All black with double silver rings. I had that one a few years.

Every Prdator I tried with the Radial pin I liked better than the unilock one. I have not found much difference between their unilock models no matter how they were built.

The weight kit started around 2008. So anything newer is going to use the uniloc weight kit.
