What are the different between Predator Ikon vs Predator Throne?

And again compare against my Predator P3

I have a Predator P3 Wraped w/ Z2 shaft(w/Uni-Loc Black Collar) & Everst tip today, and looking after a new cue.

I just received an email from Predator the other day, announcing their release of the new 8k series cues.. The 8k-4 looks really nice..

Any web page link / more info?
I can not find any info on this page http://www.predatorcues.com/

Im a Predator dealer, and they really havent been released to the public yet, which is why you cannot find the info anywhere.. Here is a pic of the 8k-4 (retail is $999)

I am very unsure of what to do...

Buy a Ikon, Throne or 8K?
It was hard enough to choose between two cues, now three :yikes:

Since I can`t try them before I buy I seek your opinions.
Sow what to do?

Thanks!

I don't really think it matters. The shafts are the same, so is the joint. The difference in the butt construction is something i highly doubt you will notice...
At the end of the day it comes down to what design you like.
I'm not a Predator fan, their cues looks bad I think.
The new cue that rain-man linked to is the best looking predator I've seen in a long time.
Predator cues are big in Norway, i see quite a few where I play, not sure how things are where you are playing though...
Biljardexperten here in Oslo do have some predator cues in stock, if your planning a trip to Oslo, Ir's worth checking them out.
I have tried the P and Throne series and could not feel any difference.
It's a bit like Mezz and Exceed. I have a wrapless Mezz, maple/purpleheart and a wrapless Exceed, purpleheart/ebony apart from the rings being a bit fancier on the Exceed, i really can't tell the difference in the way they are constructed and I really couldn't tell you where the $ 1500 price difference comes from, apart from Exceed being Mezz luxury brand, just as Lexus is Toyotas luxury brand...
That is how i see Predators Throne series cues too, they are just pricer than the P series without and real differences apart from looks.

I have to agree here. The shafts are the same, and I honestly don't think you would be able to tell the difference between the butt sections either. Pick whichever you like, and are in a range to afford..
The good thing about Predator cues, over most other production cues (the exception being Mezz), is that they really hold their value well. You can buy one and sell it down the line if you want to for a good chunk of what you paid for it. And they sell very easily and quickly...
