I have a customer with a predator break cue with a quick release and he has tightened it up so much so often that he has pulled the first one or two threads completely off of the insert any tips on how to pull that insert out and replace it with a new one? I've already ordered the new insert I know it's going to take Heat to break the epoxy loose but any tips on how to do that would be great thank you. I have some ideas.

Repair it the correct way and be done with it. As for the old one, you might be able to use an easy out and unscrew it seeing the bond is broken.

Bore and plug is the safest way. It's possible to use heat and then clean up the bore and threads, but doesn't always work, and can be risky if you use too much heat.
