I do cue repairs mostly tips cleaning - have a customer with a Predator shaft he thought ferule came loose I told him to send in for warranty said he didn't have receipt
was bought for a gift for him - he had a tournament guy glue the ferule on he thought was ok for a while gave to me I told him I couldn't buy one to install I looked closer and the shaft was split between layer , Shouldn't this be warranty - also do you really need proof of purchase its a Predator and they guarantee them,

Can anyone give me some information please.

If you read in the section of the warranty "claim procedures" I says you must provide proof of original purchase. Means if you don't have a bank statement or receipt your Sol...I had a similar issue a year ago or so

split shaft

you may be able to take a piece of wood and turn it to go inside the hole and glue in,take small radiator clamps and tighten around the spices.you can tenon the ferrule like this, becareful when clamping not to tighten to much the radiator clamps will leave marks.this won't be like it was before, but it will be very usable, otherwise it's junk.

If its not from operator abuse I would hope predator would replace it. Seems like they have a problem with them splitting.
