Predator shaft for JossWest with 5/16 14 Acme pin

Hi,

I have a JossWest cue with a 5/16 14 Acme pin (not normal 5/16 14 pin). I would like to have a Predator shaft that fits it does not seem to be a standard option. Is it possible to put this type of joint on a Predator shaft?

You would have to start with a Predator blank,and have the insert custom made by a cuemaker that has that tap.

It's also possible that let's say you had a regular 5/16-14 Predator,that someone with the tap could modify the insert to fit the Acme pin.

Ask around,that particular tap isn't in everyone's toolbox. Tommy D.
 
Thanks, I have asked several places. Any suggestions for people who might have the tap and the skills would be appreciated.
 
Thanks. I sent them an email. Hope they can do it. It is a beautiful cue and I really want to play with it but I am stuck on the Predator shaft.
