predator shafts wear out...

win win situation with pred.( consistency)
So what if they wear out some or change- They play jam up- You can feel the difference immediately. Weather and amount of play- kind of like the origonal Bob Muec- played great for a couple years and then all the glue let go. In the 70's they all said it took 100 hrs for a cue shaft to brake in. Different country's sell differen't items- Pred. Fat for 1,taiwan,larger diameter. Same with the ob-1 when it came out, how many talisman tips flew off? Accuracy is a must on the break(-pred. break cue.) I use the Willie Hoppe LE and I have a z-1 with the new z-2 ferrule. And I'm breaking with a very very light jump break from the phillippines. Speed is Power is a great understatement. Its a simple math equation. Ask Dechaine, Perfect example you can buy and watch Dechaine and chris b- race to 100. My pool game jumped a notch or two after I started playing with Predator shafts and I got used to how to aim with them. I can do things with a Predator shaft due to the low deflection that I can't do with a regular shaft and I don't mean to say that a regular shaft won't do anything a Predator will.Da Bank said:
I thought Predator shafts were a gimmick when they first came out and I was reluctant to try one and a friend of mine finally talked me into trying one on my cue and I haven't looked back ever since I got used to how they play. It's a learning experience at first trying to shoot and not allow for deflection.
