Predator shafts

Does anyone know if Predator got their problem with ferrules and their glue straightened out on their 2nd generation products? If they have resolved the problems have they replenished their distributors inventory?

Yea all the post-ferrule problem shafts are marked with a "predator quality assured" sticker. They claim all the problems are fixed. Most distributers have returned their shafts for the "quality" ones.

My wife took our shafts to Vegas with her and they put new ferrules and tips on both of them for free. I heard it was something to do with a batch of glue or something. I never had aproblem with mine but wanted it fixed just in case. My wife's did pop off though so it made me nervous that it would happen to me.

Predator Shafts

Predator did have a problem with the 314-2 shafts with the glue/ferrules. They recalled these shafts and re-ferruled these shafts and called them "Quality Assured" shafts. Make no mistake all "Quality Assured" shafts have been re-ferruled by Predator. They are actually a little under the 12.75 mm since they have been re-ferruled.

Predator's customer service is second to none. They have taken an unfortunate manufacturing problem and corrected it by the best way the could. I will continue to buy and play with Predator shafts since they are the best low deflection shafts made.
