I want a predator sneaky pete butt that actually looks like a sneaky pete or how I thought a sneaky pete should look, which is like a house cue.

These days the only thing I see on the predator website are those black on black or black with purple heart monstrosities. So I am asking here if anyone thinks they will bring back sneaky petes that look like house cues, or if I need to keep my eye out for the old 2006 models for sale?

I mean they look pretty close. Do u have any ideas for any true sneaky pete butt with a uniloc joint?
Lucasi makes a SP with uni-loc joint.
I'm sure you can find a custom cue maker that will make you one.
Why does it have to be Uni-Loc?

Lucasi doesn't let u buy butt only. Im not sure how easy it would be to sell the shaft.

What do makers charge? I already have predator stuff and would like to keep everything interchangeable.

I don't think that anyone sells a butt without the shaft.
I've only seen Joss do that but they don't use uni-loc and don't have a classic SP.
For the Price of a Predator butt (if you can find one) you can get a full Lucasi cue with the shaft and some change.
BTW, the last Predator SP cues (classic look) had radial pin and nor Uni-Loc.

I don't know what custom cue makers charge, it's like asking how much does a car cost? different cue makers have different prices.
Best thing that you can do is ask the big on-line stores what they offer you, maybe they have an old predstor in stock, maybe they will sell a butt only, maybe they can make you one.

Give Seyberts a call. They may sell you a Lucasi butt only.

I have a predator SP cue similar to the one that is \ was listed on eBay and have enjoyed playing with it , the only down side is that predator doesn't recommend trying to use one of their extensions as the but end of it maybe isn't strong enough to support it or something to that effect .

As for a true sneaky Pete that I have is a Dufferin with a 1\4" lag screw for the threaded joint and it's 6" over length and it hits a ball very well !

Edit, I just love spell check ha ha

Actually when I was at the expo this year I saw predator have 3 prices on every cue. Wood shaft, revo shaft and no shaft. That’s the first I’ve ever seen that from a manufacture though.

Ask them if they'll make you one of these w/uniloc:

Roy Mason had some unfinished Predator full splice blanks (rosewood with the green&black veneers) from the Falcon factory a while back. Maybe he knows where one might be, could lead to someone to make one for you. I bought one (a blank) and had Canadian Cue finish off the cue, but it's not full-sneaky as it has a small black black collar and butt sleeve. Of course the veneers are not so sneaky either.

Good luck with your search.

I’d order a Schmelke sneaky Pete with a Kielwood shaft that renders the cue not exactly a SP due to the contrast in wood. Schmelke will work with you contouring the butt diameter, weight, pin type and of course, the shaft would be built to your specs. If you ordered Cocobolo wood for the butt since Schmelke offers different versions, the KW shaft would likely blend in a lot better. You can do this for under $450.00 and the Schmelke SP would still look like a house cue but play more like a custom version. I think this is a great way to go and still wind up with a cue built to your specs that looks like a house cue.

Im pretty certain that is a 4 point splice. Anyway the 9k series is only like $30 dollars more. Im guessing the 9k is probably better.
The first SP’s used to be full splice and I liked them.
The later ones had an ugly “predator” branding on the forearm.
I’m sure that the new ones are not full splice, just look at the wrapless version.
