Preferred tip radius

The radius on your playing cue conforms to your playing style. If you play with little offset it will be similar to a quarter or more. If you get out on the edge more it will be closer to a penny. Rarely will a players tip resemble a dime. To keep that radius most all have to reshape regular. I never understood why one would want the up keep it their offset does not dictate such.

Making a tip tool....

Everybody has a slightly different stroke. With that in mind, whatever radius works best for you is the right radius. When you are playing your best take note of the shape of your tip. Wouldn't it be cool if someone could design a single tip tool that could be adjusted to accommodate any radius? I'm sure it could be done with a little effort.
