I bought a Z2 shaft about 3 months ago. Loved it. Then during our league night a friend inadvertantly bumped my cue out of the holder and it fell to the floor. The ferrule broke in half. Half on the shaft and half on the floor. I sent the shaft back to Predator and they not only repaired the shaft but sent me a new one as well. Nice. Now though the new shaft is making a tick sound. I checked the tip and I can't see any cracks. I am hoping when I replace the tip that that is all it is. I understand that the second generation shafts are being made overseas and the quality may be lower than what is expected. I am no cuesmith but it does seem like there is a problem with the second gens in the ferrule somewhere.
