Would anyone like to share more information about these cuemakers?

How is the hit of theses cues?Which one is better value for money?

Anything else someone would like to share about these cues.

Comments would be really appreciated:)
 
I've never hit a ball with a Prewitt but I've played with many a Gina. An ebony Gina has a pretty stiff hit, of course being ebony that's expected. The maple cues I've shot with have all had a pretty good hit to them also. I would definitely recommend a Gina to anyone asking about them....like I am here. No comment on the Prewitt though. They may play great.

One other thing, Ernie is getting up there in years and it wouldn't surprise me if he retires sometime soon. If you're thinking of ordering one of these cues you may want to go with Gina while Ernie is still puttin' 'em out.

Can u also shed some light on price of gina and prewitt.There are a few prewitts available on wanted/sale section but never seen a gina.

Can u comment on prices too.?
 
I think both cuemakers are out the roof value wise. Me personally I think Prewitt has the more traditional looking cues out of the two. Gina's might be worth more though I think.

If I had thousands to throw away I'd get a Prewitt, but of course I've never hit with either and have never touched either. My credit is not good enough:D

Prewitt? I have no idea. Gina will set you back a pretty penny though.....depending on what you get that is. A plain 4 pointer with 4 veneers with an ebony butt end probably would be in the 2,000 range, but I'm just guessing on that. A real fancy Gina will set you back some big bucks. Are you looking to buy new or used? How much are you looking to spend? I would say that if you're not in a super hurry just keep your eyes on the for sale section here. Lots of cues go through there.

I have some offers on both the cues, just getting as much information before i pull the trigger.

Would like to have more comments from people who have used these cues:)
 
Both are Superb

In my opinion, Ernie's cues will be a good investment for years to come, especially if you are considering a high end cue. That being said, however, Prewitt cues are clearly a cut above most and are very precisely constructed with superb finish. You will not be disappointed and the market for them is strong.

Playability is too subjective for me to pick a favorite...you must make up your own mind. Ginas tend to be a little more quiet hitting than the Prewitt cues I have experienced.

If I must choose, Ernie gets the nod, but in all honesty, both cuemakers are on my list. Either one would be a good choice.

I am not considering very high end models.but the base model for either cue.would like to have some more inputs:D
