Price Check on used Olhausen

What questions should I ask the seller before buying?

How about, "Can you pass the salt?" But seriously, I would ask the size and if the table itself has been modified. I can't tell from the ad what size the table is. I'm guessing 8'. If you plan on using this as a dining table and chairs, it may be an OK purchase, but not at that price. I like the Craftsman style. Generally Olhausen's are decent tables except for their entry level tables. The logo looks older - maybe 1990's?

The resale market for pool tables is terrible, since they are hard to move, expensive to recover and difficult to find a house that has space for one. So it's a buyer's market. My guess is the value is somewhere around $800 to $1000 for the table alone - here's one that is somewhat comparable:

Add another generous $300 to $500 for the rest. To you it may be worth more if you plan on using it as a dining table.

Another issue with the table for dining is, it doesn't look at all comfortable. FYI my table sits at about 32". Add another inch or two for the table top, and it's about 3" or 4" taller than a standard dining table. So I would wonder if the table has been altered to sit lower. The table's low skirts would also interfere with people sitting there.

I still think it can be used as a buffet serving table, sewing table or work table. That would still be useful.

Wish I had better info for you.

100 bucks per Ft
And looks about like 5fter
500 Max for me,
Not that I'd ever buy it for that or at all

But at 2200 they're fishing or delusional
Probably the second one

I've never even heard of ol hausen

You cam get a 9ft coldcrown
Or a 1920 something Brunswick 10fter from a azb in Minnesota for half that

I read it's location....I'd rather buy a broken arrow...
...minimal repairs and TWANG!!!.....bullseye.

Thanks for the advise, I will let you know what I hear back!

I think you should look for a different table....one you can get your knees under.
And buy an after-market top.
I would suggest a table tennis top....and extra use you're getting....
....use a table cloth when you dine.

It's a buyer's market for tables right now.

i have one like that not a table top though. you dont want a table as its too much work to play taking it on and off. anyway the table is worth about 1200. just the pool table, providing it is in great shape and not altered in any way.

and know that olhausen tables spit out balls hit into the pocket if they touch the rail at speed or hit the side of the pocket at certain angles. it can be irritating to say the least.

they also are the nicest made table that also looks like furniture in a house.
