(PRICE DROP!!!) 1991 6 point Schon LTD Birdseye Maple Ebony & Ivory
(PRICE DROP !!!) Hi guys, recently picked up this 26 year old 1991 6 point Schon LTD cue.
I noticed the cue inlays might be ivory and also there was a #2 on the butt and shaft. Which I haven't seen before.
I contacted Evan Clarke to ask him a few questions abt the cue he made. There were 12 or less of these made. He said all the inlays are ivory! So I won't be able to ship this to certain states, nor overseas.... And that the #2 simply meant there was a little cosmetic imperfection with grain or something small that in no way would affect the playability.
Took me a lil while to find them. I took pics so u could see what the small issues were. In the shaft it's just a darker colored piece of the grain ,maybe inch or so long .In the butt the very bottom of the point by the wrap is slightly discolored. You couldn't really tell unless I pointed it out... Any cosmetic issues like this he put a #2 on.
It rolls DEAD STRAIGHT !!! both the butt ,and shaft.... no taper roll !!!
This cue was in storage for 25 years of its life. Then it was sold and played with for a year or so, then I bought it.
I hit balls with it for a few hours last night , and it's a player!!!! Moves the cue ball around effortlessly. Your going to love this cue!!! Guaranteed
The shaft is 13.23mm !!! so you can taper it to your liking .
Condition is 9.5/10 there are no dings, nicks, bumps,or bruises on the forearm or the butt
