Price of a used Olhausen

Wondering what you all think I might be able to get out of a nice 8 foot Olhausen table. I think it is the Americana II. I am the second owner. It has no dings at all on it. I had a new Gorina cloth put on it in 2018. It comes with their heavy duty cover and a set of balls. I am about ready to pull the trigger on a new 8 foot Diamond Professional.

Ask $1000 and take less to get it moved.

From hearing people talk the final sale price is usually in the $500 range not including moving it. But can be less, I go a very similar Olhausen 8 footer free. Pool tables are one of the most depreciating items you can buy new unless they are a desirable well playing collectible like a nice shape Gold Crown 1, or Diamond table which everyone that is a "player" wants.

Pool tables, especially ones with heavy slate are tough.

Personally, I didn't want people who have no clue attempting to move it out of my house and table mechanics won't be offering a lot because they have to move, sell it and move it again. Least that's my take.

I now have a gc4 and to be honest, if I put it up for sale I think it would be tough to get 1500.

Had an Olhausen Grand Champion, a 9 ft commercial table, I gave it to the mechanic that does work for me. I trusted he could get it out of my basement without killing himself.

17 years ago I sold mine for $500 . Needed new cloth & possibly rail rubber ? 3 sets of balls , 2 good nearly new upper level balls . 4 great dufferin house cues , couple 2pcs cues, cue racks , multiple training aides & many instruction books I wish I still had & hooked them up to a reasonable table mechanic . It was purchased new nearly 40 years ago

Of course that was then

Scott44, Howdy;

I'll ask at the Olhausen store when I go to shoot some pools at Jerry O's
in Las Cruces what they think might be a 'reasonable' price.

A friend of mine picked up his olhausen 9’ in great cosmetic shape for I think $700. It needed new felt. I see the for sale ones listed around$1000 on average.
Dendweller GC4 for $1500? I’d take it in a minute and a half at that price, pay someone to move it to ease your mind and still make out on the deal. Those go for over $3 by me. Usually sellers want 4

it will sell between 500 and 1200 depending on how long and how many people you want to deal with.

bargain hunters will go for the 500 and buy it soon.
home owner who wants one will pay what you ask, especially if you can get the setup include in whatever you charge as that is what buying a new table gets you.

Personally, I'd be surprised if you got six hundred for it. I spent months looking for a table and passed up even calling on those for eight.

Keep looking, I got a 9' GCI for six hundred a few months ago.

Definitely Olhausen table looks good enough. Definitely the price should not be lower than 1000 dollars. In which case, you can always make a discount.

Scott44, Howdy;

Talked to the owner, and from what she's saying, You might want to ask in the neighborhood
of $1,700.00 to $2,000.00 for it and settle for about $1,000.00. It's all about the horse tradin' at
this point. Of course there will be verbal gymnastics about hauling, tear-down and install, See
what you can do and make the best deal for yourself.

Good Luck.
