Can anyone help with a current printable list of these rules?

Texasexpress.com is belly up.

Thanks,

Dave

There is a local tournament I have started to play in and questioned their rules. None were available.

Specifically, my opponent smacked the balls so hard he knocked the object ball off the table. In the process, he pocketed a ball.

I wanted a clear definition, as the opponent said since it is cue ball foul only, he continues his play.

Since they can't provide me with something concrete, I need to satisfy myself :)

Under TE, BCA, WPA rules that is defitely a foul and ball in hand for you.

I totally agree, but I want to be prepared for these guys, since it is very apparent they are more concerned with pats on the back than the facts.

I beat the guy in question, but it screwed with me the rest of the night......since I was now very unsure of the rules I thought I was playing by.

Thank you Mike.

I can't direct you to a printable list, but I have a hard copy of the Texas Express 9-ball rules as they were on 4/4/02. TE 9-ball rule 3.0-5, which applies only to the break, says "...Any numbered ball driven off the table (off the playing surface and not pocketed) is a foul." Rule 6.0-1, which applies to shots other than the break shot, says "Pocketing the cue ball or illegally pocketing numbered balls or driving either off the table is a ball in hand foul."
