There is a long tradition of private clubs around here -- especially right in Manchester, NH. They are not "pool clubs" entirely, but they are "social clubs" that feature a couple of pool tables. Some do better than others financially. They do well with a strong member base obviously. There is a whole network of them, with a league that his been going on nearly 60 years <-- not a misprint!
