Hi!

Can anyone help me with the prize money in the 2009 event?

This is what I've got so far:

Bank pool (398): Winner: John Brumback (USA), $?; Runner-up: Rodolfo Luat (Philippines), $?
One pocket (333): Winner: John Schmidt (USA), $?; Runner-up: Scott Frost (USA), $?
9-ball: (341) Winner: Shane Van Boening (USA), $16,000; Runner-up: Lee Van Corteza (Philippines), $?

All-around title (Master of the Table):

1. Brumback, $20,000
2. Pinegar, $5,000
3. Luat, $?

Thanks!

The only thing I could help you with is the Master Of The Table. Master of the Table is broken down 1st-$20,000, 2nd-$3,000, and 3rd-$2,000.

John Brumback received 10K for his banks division win. I believe John Schmidt received the same for the one-pocket event.

Thanks!

poolhustler47: Are you sure about the $3k and $2k for second and third in the Master of the Table? I read somewhere that the second place prize was $5k.

Here is the updated list:

Bank pool (398): Winner: John Brumback (USA), $10,000; Runner-up: Rodolfo Luat (Philippines), $?
One pocket (333): Winner: John Schmidt (USA), $10,000; Runner-up: Scott Frost (USA), $?
9-ball: (341) Winner: Shane Van Boening (USA), $16,000; Runner-up: Lee Van Corteza (Philippines), $?

All-around title (Master of the Table):

1. Brumback, $20,000
2. Pinegar, $3,000
3. Luat, $2,000

Bank
John Brumback: $10,000
Rodolfo Luat: $5,000

One Pocket
John Schmidt: $12,000
Scott Frost: $6,000

Nine Ball
Shane Van Boening: $16,000
Leevan Corteza: $8,000

Master of the Table:
John Brumback: $20,000

The purse for each event is the entry fee times the number of players plus the added money.

Banks: (395 players * $100) + $10,000 = $49,500
One pocket: (331 players * $125) + $15,000 = $ 56,375
Nine Ball: (341 players * $150) + $20,000 = $71,150

Paul,

What about the extra $25,000 for the Master of the Table? Who adds it?

S.

Thank you very much, Paul!

My blog post has now been updated.

Thanks also to all the others who chipped in!

Diamond Billiard Products adds the money for Master of the Table ($25,000). The added money for each individual tournament comes from Diamond as well.
