Pro players that play major events are blessed with skills on the table. Its easy to imagine how much confidence they have after all their success.
But in strong fields that is when a strong player deals with lessons of losing. Each event can have one winner.
Chasing the dream of winning major events, rewards the few and sometimes lucky. The less fortunate, transition to organizers others to house pro and some to more tragic consequences.
Life is challenging, knowing you can be successful is worth chasing when you have a shot. Some people only have a chance at surviving. Seeing players reach for that dream, is why I watch pro pool events. This is a sport where everyone is qualified to play and win regardless of physical status. The players that have made a career out of billiards shows that the dream can be long lived.
In today's culture popular sports have favored the physically specialized. Billiards sports do not favor gender or physical dominance. Billiard sports favor players of determination and concentration.
