Pro One: Placement of Feet

I know Stan has said numerous times that attention shouldn't be directed towards your feet/stance. That the eyes lead the body, and everything else is an after effect.

I agree with that as far as once your down on the shot, there shouldn't be much (if any) attention paid to where your feet are located.

However, what about where they are before you get down on the shot?

I recently found out tonight, that by keeping by feet very close together (pre shot), it's much easier for me to see the visuals.

Thoughts?

Totally unrelated. Eyes mean everything while you're feet play no role other than to be a solid foundation for your visual.

I think if you're sweating feet placement you're not focusing on the prize...and that's exact eye placement.

Yes, but my point was by focusing on my feet placement, I made it easier for myself to see the visuals and find the exact eye placement.

Obviously where you stand is important, because that can determine whether or not you are seeing the proper visuals. I just took it a step further, and found one particular placement of my feet that made it easier to see the visuals over any other placement.
