I wasn't exactly sure what to call this thread title but please read on and then offer some feedback.
So, next semester at school I plan on captaining and spearheading the foundation of a real pool team at my University. I got the league players more serious about pool and now they're kind of versed in pro pool players and they're improving pretty fast (still nobody at University can beat me)
Anyway, in forming a team (namely to compete against other schools) we receive a bit of money from the school but that money cannot go towards things like tables, or better cues because they'd have to be accessible to the largely-ignorant bangers at the University and it'd be a waste to buy quality cues when any student who wishes can pick it up and use it.
So, with a bit of money I figure it would be best to have a pro player come down and teach, instruct, and then whoop our asses =P The league guys have suggested Justin Hall and Corey Deuel and Alex Pagulayan. Probably because they're closest to our age.
But, I was just wondering how feasible this idea is and if somebody knew how to contact these guys for more information and possible cost estimates. Again, this won't be until next semester at best but it's something I'd like to put into action now.
Thanks everybody,
-Richard
