lately i have been on here asking about an ld for my Pechauer P02. Well I ran in to a pit fall. The p02 has an extra wide but and any new shaft i put on it would be significantly smaller in circumference than the butt of my cue so mu otions are either to send my cue and a blank of the shaft I want off to pechauer and have them custom fit it to my cue. Or I can get another cue with an ld shaft already on it. With all the shipping custom work and blanks My expenses may be over $300. So It may be in my best interest to get another cue because anytime i want a new shaft I have to get a blank send it of and have it custom fit to my cue. I love mu P02 and will keep it but should get a new cue.

so an OB129 is one that I found that I liked and it come with an OB classic I wanted what are your thoughts on that cue?

Send Scott an email at Pechauer, They are making their own LD shaft. Its called the performance + 12 piece pie laminated construction. They have it in the p+ pro which is a 13mm tip and a p+ lite which is a 11.75mm tip.

They are only made for pechauers and available for both the pro and jp joints.

www.cheapcues.com is the only website selling them that i know of, they are $200 shipped.

They have been offering them in Europe too now. All I know, is that they indeed use a 12-piece pie shape and have indeed 2 tapers 13mm/12.75mm and 11.75mm. I don't know if they hold foam like a Predator shaft or if they're hollowed out a bit. But it's a real LD-shaft according to Pechauer. Plus, I own an older Pechauer cue and I know Predator shafts exist for that joint... Seyberts offers them and if you doubt, you can measure them and mail them the specs, they'll make sure the shaft fits onto your collar.

yeah but it not the joint that is the problem its the circumference of the botom the shafts will fit but the point at where they meet will be disproportionate in circumference.

Well, I advise you go for a custom job if you want to keep on playing with that cue. Seyberts for example have your cue for sale. And they can fit a shaft for that cue if you contact them about it.
