My question is I have a 90's joss west and the pin size is different form the earlyer cues the threds are thicker and I am trying to get a predator shift for it anyone have any ideas

Omar said:That's interesting, because I did try using a delrin set from a Scruggs cue I have and it seemed to fit OK. I realize that isn't a perfect solution, but would this be safe to do? Is delrin hard enough that it would damage the pin threads?
The reason I have never had a set made is that I was never able to reconsile the risk of shipping the cue vs the benefit of joint protectors, as the cue doesn't leave the house much.
