Has anyone here ever had a Problems with Joss. A good friend of mine is having a Major headache with Joss. So just wondering if anyone here has had any past issues? I have head nothing but good things till my friend pick up a new cue!

Thanks, John

I have a Joss that I use quite a bit... no problems with it. I heard if you do have a problem to contact them & they will make it right.

I know of regular Joss cues, and Joss West. Not sure if they are related. The regular Joss cues are decent for production cues and Joss West cues are beautiful and hit great from what I've seen.

in my opinion, i am not too crazy about the Dan Janes linen wraps that he makes.. it seems like they have a lot of flaws that are covered up and still sent out for sale.. i have seen three cues, (one was on i purchased) that had terrible wrap jobs on them.. i sold the cue right after i bought it.. but it seemed that they should have a higher quality control then they do.. unless they are cues that just got by un noticed...

I have several Joss cues and never have had a problem. I have been to their shop in Towson and they have always treated me very good. I would contact them directly and I am sure they will take care of the problem.

Trying to get JOSS to give you a straight answer in regards to their cues, mainly older ones, is much like going to the dentist and having him remove your molars via your anus........

It is not going to happen right away and will not be painless.....

Now, I have dealt with Evan Clarke at Schon cues numerous times. A VERY down to earth man who will literally talk to you on the phone for hours on end answering ALL of your questions and even shoot the shit with you about billiards in general....

Thats how it is supposed to be...

i have a JOSS and shoot with it all the time.never had a problem with it are the 1 i had 20 yrs. ago.2 diff. cues but still good cues.i spoke with Dan b4 i got this 1 ihave now.i looked at via email and was able to tell alot about it without me having to pull it out of him. call JOSS and go from there

he shouldnt be worried about it...

He just picked up a RC3 < interesting wood combo by the way...> Whats the problem? Will should just toss the cueand forget about the bad service hes getting from Joss. What was the defect again - the joint? Its a Joss for Christsake!

Mike <- sold his Mottey to Fearless:mad:

I have/had a few Joss's, even had a SP custom made to my specs and everytime, the service and cues have been great. No complaints here.
